Major Functions / Features
- DOUBLE WALL COMPENSATOR, a piping component of an LNG propulsion vessel,
is type of Bellows inserted in the middle of the connection to provide flexibility in the inner part,
outer part, supporter for outer and inner part and connection pipe where the cryogenic
LNG fluid or vaporized gas passes. - This is installed to prevent an accident caused by leakage gas if the internal pipe is
damaged due to factors such as increased pressure of the internal pipe or inherent vibration of
the ship while the fluid is moving.
